This manual describes the functionality of the Lecando Learning Content Management System, from here on referred to as the LCMS. The LCMS stores webbased learning content in a centralized repository and provides a place for authors to work together on multiple course creation projects. It is arranged to help users focus on creating, editing and reusing course content. The LCMS is either available inside the IBM Lotus LMS as a separate tab, or in IBM Lotus Workplace as portlets.
This manual is divided into the following main parts:
Introduction to the LCMS.
Describes shortly the different e-learning content standards available. This chapter can be skipped, but provides a useful knowledge base.
Describes the different parts of the LCMS and provides an overview of how to navigate the repository and manage content in the LCMS.
Describes how the LCMS enables workflow and process support around the object types described in the previous chapter.
The tutorials will help you by presenting three different scenarios on how to use Lecando LCMS. Read them through or follow every step yourself on your computer.
